Acrostic Poem
This is the second type of poem I am writing today for my project. This is an acrostic. I remember being asked by my English teacher in High School to write an acrostic. I don’t even remember what I wrote back then. I hope this one is much better. 🙂 To view the complete list of the poems I have written for this project, please click this link. Thank you, and enjoy! wink
World Peace
Â
When everybody else is hurting
Or blaming other people for the pain
Right when we think there’s no more hope
Lost and desperate, we all become.
Doomsday seems so near at once.
People everywhere, not knowing where to go
Everybody seems to have lost all faith.
All at once, let us be there for each other.
Calm our troubled waters, rebuild our bridges
Everlasting peace, let’s all work to achieve.

I am quite irreverently reminded of Miss Congeniality. I like the poem though!
