I have always loved the music of Imogen Heap, Dido, and Tracy Chapman. However, I just recently realized that I also love Sia, Feist, A Fine Frenzy, Jewel, Amy Winehouse, and Carla Bruni. Yes, I may not understand her songs that well, but I still like them. I like listening to them because they actually act like “downers” for me. When I am in need of a little cooling down or relaxation, I listen to their music. It works like a charm. They calm my nerves. I have never been into the pop music genre. It’s not that I don’t like pop music. I’m really just more into the un-popular music. Ones that may not really be that mainstream, but they match my personality so well. If you have time, you can check them out too. Enjoy! wink

Awesome music choice. I’ve yet to hear Carla Bruni’s songs. But I’m a huge fan. I might dig it up. 😉

Because it’s French? 🙂 I know what you mean. I didn’t understand many of the songs in La Vie en Rose but I totally loved them. 😉
